As the KVA team grows, we stole our break-dancing Account Manager Laura for a ten minute chat...

So, welcome Laura! How did you find your first day?

I think I started on a pretty good day! It was the day the annual ‘Christmas’ party was announced…. ;-) Everyone was really enthusiastic and positive and happy…. and they still are!!

Tell us a bit about your background…

I’ve been a photographer for ten years running my own business. Naturally I had to learn marketing to progress the business. During this time, I fell in love with digital marketing and decided that’s where I wanted to spend my time. I’ve taught myself everything I need to know about digital marketing and I love how trends are constantly changing.

I’ve come from working on my own to being part of a much larger team and everyone has been so welcoming and kind. I honestly can say I’ve found my true calling in life!

What do you know about KVA Digital so far?

We’re fun, hard-working, positive, happy, Emily really likes chips and we have a really cool boss….

When I was looking for an agency to work at before I started they were all very similar. They were all doing the same marketing techniques and processes.

When I arrived at KVA and was greeted by a smiling team and two lovely dogs, I knew it was going to be very different here!

KVA has a different approach to marketing, assessing what has worked but most of all looking ahead of the trends with a futuristic approach to targeting the customer.

They are also one of the few digital communications agencies that use VR, AR and MR technologies for their clients – well above and beyond what many companies can offer.

What is your role at KVA Digital?

I am a Digital Account Manager and I liaise with the clients and manage the team’s schedule to ensure everything is completed before deadlines and to the highest standard.

I take care of new and existing clients, create and develop marketing ideas and strategies and oversee the PPC campaigns.

What are you most looking forward to achieving?

I’m driven by numbers, so I can’t wait to see what success our clients can achieve and know that was because of something I had worked hard for. It’s so exciting seeing real time data change as I make an impact with marketing.

Are they any areas in particular you are hoping to get involved with?

I can’t wait to get my hands stuck into PPC advertising, getting to know the many clients and getting to know my awesome team

Who would be your ideal client to work for?

I love to travel and enjoy days out!

So, the perfect company to work for would be one where I have the opportunity to travel, use the latest technologies and where I’m able to help create something truly unique for the client, ahead of their competition. And of course, a few fun days out!
