Awareness Campaign London Fire Brigade

The challenge

Following fatal fires in London tower blocks, the London Fire Brigade wanted to raise awareness of fire safety amongst those living in purpose-built flats as a result of the Lakanal fire inquest.

The Solution

We created #KnowThePlan – a multi-channel campaign providing clearly differentiated information for tenants and landlords. The campaign has heavy media coverage and was featured on BBC news, This Morning and various radio stations to highlight awareness. We created a suite of supporting materials to be housed in the website providing easy access of information for landlords and FAQs for tenants.

The Technology

  • Open source CMS campaign site custom build

  • Integration of Google Tag Manager to allow client management of data tracking

The Results

In the first week of launch, the campaign site received over 10,000 unique users and the campaign hashtag was trending on Twitter. Significant awareness was projected and the campaign was successful against KPIs set.
